Hayden shortly after his birth was taken to the nursery to be check on by the doctors. Craig was able to be with him for most of it. Hayden would turn his head looking for Craig every time he would hear his dad's voice. Craig is a natural!

Tiffany and Craig's Labor of Love
This is Tiffany resting up for the main event on Wednesday afternoon. She is such a natural laboring mother that she was able to breath through the contractions and then drift back off to sleep. This rest was desperately needed because she and Craig had been up all night Tuesday night with gnarly back labor. She continued to rest at home until the contractions were coming every 5 minutes.
For part of the labor we had Tiffany sit on the edge of the bed and rest in between contractions. When a contraction would come on we would pull her up to stand. Being the petite girl that Tiffany is her feet could not reach the floor while sitting on the bed. To make it easier for her she would stand on Craig's feet so that she didn't have to drop too far to the floor each time. He would then hold her through the contraction. It was amazing watching them together. He even kept doing this when his feet fell asleep.
We arrived at the hospital at about 5 am Thursday morning. Tiffany had done such a great job relaxing and letting her body do its thing that when the doctor first checked her she was dilated to a 6 and was almost completely effaced! Go Tiff, go!
Craig was by Tiffany's side the entire time. He was the PERFECT coach. After laboring in the hospital for over 12 hours the doctors recommended going ahead with a C-section because her body wasn't continuing to progress. After the surgery we were told that her pelvis was probably too narrow for the little guy to pass through. Doesn't Craig look so good in his scrubs?! Tiffany had already been wheeled into the OR and was being prepped for the surgery.
